Gotras is situated close to the historic town of Dolgellau. The cottage is a conversion of a stable within the grounds of Glyn Malden, an 18th Century manor house. Featuring gravel grounds, with patio furniture to the front which is totally enclosed and safe for children and dogs, ample parking space to the rear including further extensive grounds for your sole use to the left of the drive.

Within walking distance is the spectacular Mawddach Estuary and cycle track, also the renowned Coed y Brenin cycle path within 15-minute drive.

Backdrop to the location is the Cader Idris mountain range. Barmouth and Fairbourne beaches are within a 15 minute drive.

For the sightseers there are - Harlech Castle, Portmeirion Italianate Village, Talyllyn miniature Railway and the Alternative Technology Centre, all within a 30 minute drive.

For the golf enthusiast there is a local golf course and the renowned Royal St David's golf club is a 30 minute drive away.

This spacious cottage is situated in a stunning location at the foot of Cader Idris - Wales's second highest mountain. With public footpaths virtually from the grounds and, within a mile, is the car park and picnic area at the start of the Cader Idris climb. continuing along the same road is the Cregennan Lakes where you could try your hand at fishing, or enjoy panoramic views of the Estuary.

Ideal base for cycling along the Mawddach cycle track which is within 2 miles of the renowned Coed y Brenin cycle track within 5 miles.

Dolgellau town is a 5 minutes drive away and Fairbourne and Barmouth beaches are a 20 minutes drive away.
